Ahhhhh!

I am SO nervous I defend my comp tomorrow at 2pm. I just want it to be over with (like I did well over with not It's done for now and I have huge horrible revisions to do over with).

Yesterday Daniel's mom and I painted the room. It's really pretty...I have to take after pictures.

A wonderful thing



A wonderful thing happened this week. For a long time now I have mourned the disappearance of the "cookies and cream twix", but this week I found this, the white chocolate twix. Definately yummy but no match for the cookies and cream. Go buy one now.

Daniel resisted so long but now he's been reading Harry Potter non-stop. Yippe!

Happy St. Patti's Day



It's my favorite holiday, I usually have a party or something but there's just too much going on. My corned beef is in the freezer still instead of in the crock pot because I'm not sure if we're going to Wendover or not. Oh well that makes me a lousy Irish girl (yes I'm Irish for reals). 

blah: little update

Well I'm mostly moved into the the condo and I'm completely out of the apartment which is really great. I love the condo, it's perfect!

The job guys called daniel to schedule an interview. So keep praying for that. It'll be really good if he gets the job but the transition will be a little scary in the normal change sort of way.

We watched Harry Potter again at the dollar theatre, how are those books SO SO good. I want a new one now. Daniel's been reading them like a crazy man it's wonderful and it reminds me just how great the books are.

blah: life

I (marissa) am super super tired. I feel like I've been going non-stop for a while and I know daniel is the same if not worse. But we've been getting things done woohoo.

I am almost completely moved into the condo which is so nice. I had so much stuff and I really tried to throw out and donate a lot. It's nice to have the invites out, that was more work than I expected but so worth it. And it's been fun to hear people have received them. And maybe the most exciting for me is that I turned in what I think is a final draft of my comp paper (big deal) so if Shaun my advisor thinks it's ready I can set up a defense and that will be a huge hoop jumped.

Daniel's been a working machine. And he's been master cleaner and home getter-readier (for example, he de-molded the new fridge we got after taking it apart and putting it together to get it in our new home). And something really exciting is that the job that Daniel has been waiting to apply for has finally been posted so he filled out the application. The listing closed today so if you're a pray-er pray that all goes well with that.

We're tired but things are pretty great.

For those of you who haven't heard yet Daniel and I bought a condo. wohoo. thanks to those of you who were praying for us. There was major shadiness with the first place we tried to get, but this place is WAY niceer so it turns out that it was good that the first condo guys were cheating liars. But I love the new home.

Here I am ringing out my clothes because of course the washing machine decided not to rinse or drain when I did my first load of laundry. Now I know why we are all so fat... no real house work=oinky girls.
